What it does
Three decisions, with reasons
posture opens on the threads that most need you and says why each was picked: waiting on your reply, someone you usually answer, a deadline or an amount. Newsletters and no-reply mail sink.
Every account, one list
Connect all your mail accounts and read them together, each row marked with its account. Filter by account or unread with a single key.
Search that works offline
Full-text search across all your mail, from a local index, with from:, label:, has:attachment and date filters.

Ask it about your mail
coming in ThinkPress c and ask in plain language. posture searches across every account, answers with the messages it used, and drafts what you need in your own voice. Anything it writes waits for your approval.
> You: Investigate the insurance billing. Harbour Mutual collected the October premium of R 4,812.50 twice. You reported the duplicate debit and they opened query HM-QRY-58213, but their records show only one collection and they are asking for a bank statement. Their latest message says the query will be closed if they do not receive it. Nothing in your mail shows a refund so far. I have drafted a dispute email that quotes both collections and asks for the second to be reversed. It is waiting for your approval; you would need to attach the statement page. Your mail stays yours
posture has no server. There is nothing between your computer and your mail provider.
- Straight from your provider to your machine. Mail is fetched by the app on your computer and nowhere else.
- Stored locally. In a database file only your user account can read.
- Sign-in kept in your keychain. Tokens never sit in a plain file.
- Your password stays with your provider. You sign in on your provider's own page, so posture never sees your password.
- Read-only today. The current version never changes anything in your mailbox. No analytics, no telemetry.
Roadmap
-
now
1 · Read
Sign-in, sync, a combined inbox, thread reader, search and the rule-based briefing.
-
next
2 · Think
Ask about your mail in plain language and get answers that point to their sources. Drafts replies in your own voice, learned from the mail you have sent, and improves with every edit you make.
-
later
3 · Act
Tell it what to do: archive, label, reply, send. Nothing happens until you approve, every action passes fixed policy checks, and all of it is logged.
